Rental Agreement and Terms of Service

Rental Agreement Overview

By renting equipment from Camorent, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in this Rental Agreement. This document details the terms under which Camorent (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides equipment rental services to you, the customer (“you” or “your”). It is crucial to read these terms carefully before finalizing your rental order.

1. Rental Cycle

Rental Period: The rental cycle starts at 08:00 AM on the day you collect the equipment and ends at 08:00 AM the following day. Regardless of the actual pickup time, the equipment must be returned by 08:00 AM the next day.

Early Return: You may return the equipment on the same day of pickup if your use is completed early. However, the rental fee will remain the same as for a full rental cycle.

Store Hours: Our store operates 24/7, allowing you to pick up and return equipment at any time convenient for you within the rental period.

2. Rental Charges and Payments

Rental Fees: Fees are based on the number of rental cycles. Each cycle covers the period from 08:00 AM on the day of pickup to 08:00 AM the following day.

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, UPI, and net banking.

Security Deposit: Depending on the value of the rented equipment, a refundable security deposit may be required. This deposit will be returned once the equipment is safely returned in its original condition.

3. Equipment Pickup and Return

Pickup: Equipment can be picked up from 08:00 AM on the day of your rental. The rental cycle begins from 08:00 AM, irrespective of the actual pickup time.

Return: All equipment must be returned by 08:00 AM on the day after your rental period ends. Late returns may incur additional charges.

Late Returns: If the equipment is not returned by 08:00 AM on the due date, an additional rental cycle fee will be charged for each 24-hour period or part thereof.

4. Equipment Care and Responsibility

Condition of Equipment: You are responsible for the proper care of the equipment during the rental period. The equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was received.

Damage or Loss: You are fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period. Charges for repair or replacement will be applied if the equipment is damaged or lost.

Inspection: We encourage you to inspect the equipment at the time of pickup. Report any issues immediately to avoid being held responsible for pre-existing problems.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation: You may cancel your rental reservation up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup time may incur a cancellation fee.

Refunds: Refunds for cancellations or security deposits will be processed within 7 business days.

6. Liability and Indemnity

Liability: Camorent is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the rented equipment. You use the equipment at your own risk.

Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold Camorent harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the equipment or any breach of this agreement.

7. Termination of Agreement

Termination by Camorent: We reserve the right to terminate this agreement and demand the immediate return of the equipment if you breach any of the terms and conditions.

Termination by Customer: You may terminate the agreement by returning the equipment before the end of the rental period. However, no partial refunds will be issued for early returns.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
